Registered Massage Therapy is a clinical and medical form of massage that focuses on injury prevention, recovery, rehabilitation and maintenance of the soft tissues within the body. Some of the benefits include decreased muscle soreness and pain, decreased stress response, increased circulation, increased mobility, and an increased sense of well-being. Registered Massage Therapy is suitable for most people in some form, and can be especially beneficial for those with athletic injuries or stresses (including children), postural concerns, pregnancy, decreased mobility, chronic pain, post-surgery and headaches.

Registered Massage Therapist, Owner

As a Registered Massage Therapist, I use massage as a means to treat acute and chronic injuries and conditions. My favourite modalities are deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, and cryotherapy. I work with athletes, children, pregnant women, and those with chronic, ongoing conditions. I welcome everyone seeking to improve their health to my practice!

I spent many happy hours of my childhood roaming the woods near Larch Hills Nordic Centre, just outside of Salmon Arm. I graduated from OVCMT in Vernon in 2014 with both Academic Performance and Practicum Attendance Awards. My first Massage Therapy jobs were in Blind Bay and Lumby, BC.

After working in the Lower Mainland and then Southern California, starting Evexía Massage Therapy in Salmon Arm feels like coming home. I’m thrilled to finally have somewhere to sink my roots down! In my free time, I’m probably driving to a lake with my canoe, foraging for edible plants, or painting watercolour.
